Dental Assistant
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models
- Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques
- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures
- Proficiency in dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
