The Marketing Administrator is responsible for handling marketing projects as directed. Coordinates, improves promotions with other managers and departments, assists in promotional scripts, detailed proofreading for final copy, performs specific statistical analysis for slot and table games and other data as required, and performs administrative support as needed. Develops effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests, clients, vendors, gaming officials and employees. Performs duties in compliance with the Illinois Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Illinois Gaming regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains a general awareness of company-wide marketing needs and keeps Marketing Director informed of any concerns. Acts to handle difficult guests, vendors and employees in a diplomatic, courteous and positive manner.
- Communicates accurate information about the casino and performs related administrative support duties, both assigned and assumed, effectively and promptly. Promotes a positive image and the goodwill of the company in all marketing activities.
- Provides guests, vendors and employees with assistance, troubleshooting and problem resolution as efficiently and promptly as possible.
- Performs a variety of administrative support duties, including customer service, clerical, scheduling, data entry, statistical, financial or mathematical, financial or mathematical analysis, including creation and use of spreadsheets, report writing, recordkeeping, copying, delivery and distribution of mail, materials, equipment and supplies and other general office support activities, as requested or required.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Responds to questions from guests promptly and accurately. Provides personal attention to guests and assists with information on obtaining change, gaming rules, verification of winnings and other assistance, as necessary.
- Performs duties in compliance with the Illinois Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Illinois Gaming Regulations.
- Maintains alertness for performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of marketing operations at all times. Takes appropriate action based on observations, as directed or as established. Informs Marketing Director of any concerns. Verifies customers are 21+ years of age.
- Performs, when necessary, as a back-up to marketing staff.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in education and experience.
- One (1) or more years of recent and related successful experience marketing casino games, preferably slot machines or slot club operations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Ability to obtain and or maintain necessary licenses and or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

- Demonstrated experience preferably within a marketing environment.
- Demonstrated experience responding to a high volume of telephone calls, and developing and maintaining positive relations with applicants, guests, vendors and employees.
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work.
- Demonstrated experience with graphics, spreadsheets and analysis programs.
