Join our team with providing care and community activities for individuals in need of community support services. Interested candidates would need to be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver’s license. Criminal Justice Degree does not qualify. You must have 5 years of Human Services experience if you do not have a Human Services Degree. Must work a minimum of 40 hours per month.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implements interventions outlined in the individualized treatment plan
- Intervenes as needed when behavior problems are exhibited by the client
- Provides training, support and modeling techniques to youth/parents/guardians.
- Provides positive reinforcement to the client
- Implements consequences
- Attends training sessions
- Completes necessary paperwork as required
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. (5 years Human Services Experience Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Services (No Human Services Experience Required)
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of the issues that individuals with behavioral, substance abuse and mental health issues experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Fingerprinting is required
- Part-time positions are currently available.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Complete state required trainings.
