POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Handles branch recruitment efforts and process of hiring Caregivers.
- Assists in the coordination of the Caregiver Orientation In-service Plan.
- Supports all recruitment activities in the Branch and community by participating in job fairs, health fairs, and mall displays. Does outreach activities in communities via churches, speaker’s bureaus, networking with teaching agencies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Represents the Agency in recruitment activities at job fairs, health fairs, mall displays, and conventions to obtain qualified professional health care staff.
- Conducts telephone screening of applicants. Communicates with applicant and probes to identify their interest to prioritize an appropriate interview date and location. Schedules interview and logs daily interview schedule. Instructs applicant in appropriate preliminary paperwork needs.
- Reviews applicant’s preliminary paperwork and grades pre-employment tests following company protocol. Adheres to Agency’s hiring policies and standards. Conducts interviews with caregivers. Extends job offers.
- Processes prospective applicants’ following standardized compliance requirements and expedites screening, job offer, orientation and new hire utilization.
- Coordinates with Director of Training to establish training classes and keeps in contact with prospective trainees to ensure that they actually do start the training.
- Coordinates new hire orientation with branch offices.
Qualifications:
- The candidate for this position will have a high school diploma preferably bachelor’s degree, and one year of related experience in health care delivery or business. Prior recruitment experience in a customer service setting. Strong human relations, communications, and problem-skills are requisite.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail are requisite for success in this position. Candidate must have basic computer skills and be proficient in data entry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
