Wag’n Tails, the leading manufacturer of mobile grooming vans and mobile veterinarian clinics, is searching for a versatile Marketing Specialist. The successful candidate is a doer. You can work independently and in a team. You contribute to various facets of marketing, from crafting compelling emails to designing print brochures. Responsibilities:
Design
- Create and deploy captivating ads, aligning with our brand voice and aesthetic.
- Oversee the layout and design of various marketing materials, including brochures, roll-up banners, and digital assets.
- Ensure materials are visually engaging and effectively communicate our messaging with a keen eye for detail and design sensibility.
Email Marketing
- Develop and implement effective email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate to craft compelling copy, select or create impactful visuals, and manage distribution.
- Track the metrics of success for our email campaigns to increase opens and CTR.
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with our community.
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
Content Creation
- Write and edit content for various marketing channels, including blogs, newsletters, website copy, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice and messaging.
Tradeshow Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
- Occasionally represent Wag’n Tails at trade shows, building relationships with potential customers and partners.
Miscellaneous Marketing Tasks
- Assist in various marketing functions, such as photo editing, design, or content creation, as needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing teammates, customer service, sales, and production to ensure all marketing efforts align with our broader strategies, brand voice, and company goals.
- Work effectively within a vibrant, fast-paced environment as a team player.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience in a marketing role, with exposure to various functions and/or a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong copywriting and design skills, coupled with knowledge of AP style.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (such as Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Proficient when using marketing platforms such as Google (Analytics, AdWords, Search Console), Canva, SEMRush, and others.
- Experience using WordPress and Constant Contact is preferred.
- A resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
