Hospitality company is seeking a skilled Office Assistant. This position involves performing basic office duties, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), QuickBooks, Excel, and handling phone calls.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel and QuickBooks.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Capable of assuming responsibility for assigned tasks and completing duties efficiently.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with good time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review records to ensure accuracy of information and procedures.
- Review invoices and purchase orders, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Perform credit card reconciliations and issue checks to suppliers.
- Manage payroll and ensure timely payments.
- Post payments promptly and report to management.
- Develop and maintain excellent relations with vendors.
