Job Description:
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Perform aerodynamic and aero-thermal analysis to support the development of high-speed and hypersonic weapon systems. Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis tools on High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms to evaluate trajectory-based aerodynamic heating and performance. Assist in developing software tools for high-speed aerodynamic and aero-thermal problems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Employ analysis tools to analyze high-speed or hypersonic flow environments and systems.

Programming in C++, Fortran, MATLAB, or other scientific programming software
-
Develop written reports, briefings, and other documentation
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
Experience and Skills:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum BS Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with MS degree desired.

0 to 5 years experience

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES DESIRED:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with programming in C++, Fortran, Matlab, Python, etc.
