The
Central Investor Services Support Associate is responsible for supporting the Investor Services and Investor Allocations teams acting as a subject matter expert in areas including but not limited to investor allocations, fee calculations, and investor return calculations.
- Reviews and prepares offline and system-generated calculations to support new fund launches and existing fund updates including but not limited to, complex expense and waterfall/incentive fee calculations, regular and specialized PnL allocations, performance metrics, such as IRR, MOIC, ROR on a partner, tranche or fund basis based on the terms of the offering documents
- Proactively identifies issues through review of qualitative and quantitative data, anticipates obstacles and then implements mitigating solutions
- Builds relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, and IT professionals, to ensure that project goals are aligned, and communication is effective
- Serves as liaison between internal and external developers and IS and IA departments regarding projects
- Completes system testing before releases
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and prepares offline and system-generated calculations to support new fund launches and existing fund updates
- Complete complex expense and waterfall/incentive fee calculations, regular and specialized PnL allocations
- Calculate performance metrics, such as IRR, MOIC, ROR on a partner, tranche or fund basis based on the terms of the offering documents
- Completes system testing before releases for quality assurance of existing reports as well as functionality of new releases
Requirements:
- Two to three years of experience in alternative investment industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Proactive critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
- General knowledge and understanding of the private funds (private equity, private credit) industry
- Basic knowledge of Advent applications preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Proven team-oriented, organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
