Partnerships Coordinator!
The Business Partnerships Coordinator* is a key member of the *Business Partnerships and Corporate Engagement Teams* and will support the coordination of Food Bank’s strategic partnerships, corporate engagement, matching gifts, campaign management, and in-kind donations led by the Corporate Engagement team. This position will work cross-functionally and collaboratively across the organization to ensure the successful execution of Food Bank’s fundraising and marketing campaigns and initiatives. The position will work to invest key Food Bank stakeholders and the general public in the organization’s mission making them aware of the service landscape, opportunities to be engaged, reasons to adopt various actions and stances and leveraging them to support our key fundraising initiatives.*
Responsibilities:
Work closely with External Relations (Marketing & Communications, Events,
Strategic Giving, Volunteer Engagement, and Government Relations) to
deepen and develop innovative partnerships with corporate partners and
brand partners through fundraising, campaign management, in-kind
donations and volunteer engagement.
This role has a specialized focus on campaign management, research and reporting.
Project Management**
Oversee and implement timelines for annual corporate led campaigns
including Check Out Hunger, Justice Served and Hunger Action Month.
Coordinate preparation for meetings with corporate sponsors, corporate
and foundation grant makers, and other key links to the business
community including preparing meeting briefings and materials;
Utilize Food Bank templates to prepare and update high-quality, visual
pitch presentations to current and prospective partners;
Draft legal contracts and agreements, utilizing Food Bank templates,
between Food Bank and corporate partners;
Oversee supply orders and budget tracking for campaign, programs, special
events and departmental needs;
Developing Materials, Research & Reporting
Draft communications to corporate partners, most notably
acknowledgements;
Provide excellent and timely fulfillment of data and information requests to
relationship managers;
Maintain an in-depth corporate database via Raiser’s Edge including
logging call reports, and managing relationship manager deadlines for the
completion of follow up actions.
Work with the Database Administrator to develop and pull reports utilizing Raiser’s Edge fundraising software;
Create and maintain monthly corporate partner reports;
Research corporate giving trends, opportunities and new potential funding
sources;
Relationship Management
Vet and manage a portfolio of $5k and below 3rd party partnerships;
Secure vendor participation and/or in-kind donations for fundraising
initiatives and other Food Bank events;
Conduct regular partnership evaluations and surveys to collect feedback on
campaigns, projects, and impact to inform and guide our work;
Volunteer Management
Staff and plan Corporate Engagement led volunteer programs, Food Bank 2
Go projects, Hunger Simulation, pop-ups, special events and third party
speaking engagement during work hours and on occasion nights and
weekends;
Work closely with the Volunteer Engagement Team to identify and place
corporate teams in service opportunities;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
1-2 years of professional experience required, preferably in the non-profit
sector;
B.A. or B.S. Degree preferred;
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow
through;
Raiser's Edge experience strongly preferred; experience with comparable
database required;
Ability to operate with purpose, urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced
deadline driven environment;
Excellent strategic thinker and goal orientation; team player;
A high level of optimism and a flair for thinking creatively outside the box,
particularly as applied to corporate funding opportunities;
Track record of building strong relationships with various types of people
and the ability to motivate superiors and peers to meet ambitious goals;
Excellent computer skills including knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams;
Fluency in second language a plus;
Experience with or knowledge of social service/hunger issues a plus
