Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Traveling On-Site Industrial Project Manager to oversee and manage industrial projects across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in industrial processes, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex industrial projects and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage industrial projects from initiation to completion across various on-site locations.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution and compliance with specifications.
- Be present on site to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory requirements on all project sites.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and obstacles.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with organizational standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in industrial settings, with a minimum of 3 years managing complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods as required.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial automation, process optimization, or manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with environmental and sustainability practices in industrial operations.
- Advanced technical certifications or licenses related to industrial engineering or project management.
