**Job Title: Patient Care-Front Desk Coordinator**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, dedicated, polite, reliable full time Patient Care Coordinator who loves children to join our team. We need to replace our wonderful teammate who has left to start her family and will be returning part time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience by coordinating appointments, assisting with inquiries, treatment planning, verifying insurance, taking and posting payments, recalls, and maintaining accurate patient records. **Responsibilities:**
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits efficiently
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain electronic health records using software such as Open Dental
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate patient care plans
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the clinic
**Skills:**
- MUST have experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in using Open Dental
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
