Job Title: Program Manager
Department: Engineering
Reports To: V.P. of Engineering
Summary:
A Program Manager coordinates the activities and efforts of a cross functional team to bring products from customer order to customer approval and shipment. Program Managers must ensure that all materials, tooling, processing, and capital equipment are in place to support the customers’ production needs. Program Managers serve as the single point of contact with the customer. A successful Program Manager will deliver the new product on time, within the tooling budget and at an acceptable product profit margin.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Communicate the needs of the program to all areas within Jedco and with the customer.
· Facilitate weekly launch team meetings with open issues lists and drive issues to resolution.
· Maintain a Gantt chart for the program that will meet or deliver parts early to the committed delivery date.
· Monitor and manage tooling budgets to stay within budget.
· Monitor product margin through the development process and lead margin improvement initiatives.
· Report project status to the Executive Staff monthly.
· Understands and follows Standard Manufacturing Guidelines.
· Performs other tasks assigned as required.
Qualifications:
· Highly organized individual with attention to detail.
· Ability to break down large complex projects into smaller manageable tasks.
· Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to lead a cross functional team.
· Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
Education and Experience:
· 5-8 years of experience in a Project Engineering or Program Management role.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred.
· 5-8 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or machining.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project.
Physical Demands:
· Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
· Keyboarding
· Verbal communication with others.
· Physically tracking parts on the manufacturing floor.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
