This position qualifies for a hire on bonus of $5000 with 1/2 paid with 1st check after hire and 1/2 paid with 1st check following 6-month probationary period.
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare (CBH) has an immediate opening for a Mobile Crisis Clinician, QMHP. This position will perform Mobile Crisis Assessments , Post-Crisis intervention, brief follow up care and other outreach for individuals who are experiencing crisis in a variety of settings. This may include, but is not limited to, locations in the community such as an individual’s home, school, residential programs, hospitals or correctional institutions.
Mobile Crisis Clinicians work in the community and are not required to work in office during their shifts but must be within Clatsop County limits so they can be accessible to provide immediate in-person care . This position works 12 hour shifts, the work week rotates on a 4 shifts on - 3 shifts off/ 3 shifts on - 4 shifts off schedule with overtime every pay period.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health related field and meet qualifications to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain Oregon or Washington DL
- Background check clearance
- Ability to meet agency insurance requirements, must submit current motor vehicle record if licensed outside of the state of Oregon
Preferred:
- Three (3) years direct service experience with severely and persistently mentally ill adults.
- Licensed (licensed employees have an increased pay rate)
- Candidate will have a background including special training, experience and other demonstrated abilities in providing care and treatment appropriate to residents served in the facility. Demonstrate effective communication skills to diverse client populations.
