Job Purpose: To perform required maintenance on the production equipment and to make repairs as necessary.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly PM’s on assigned items.
- Cleans the self-cleaning filter and the asphalt screens.
- Performs mechanical and electrical tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for all forklift repairs within the capabilities of the plant.
- Responsible for all lubrication.
- Responsible for housekeeping in any area designated.
- May be cross trained to fill in on any production position as required.
- The ability to work rotating shifts and/or weekends.
- The ability to work overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to lift up to 120 lbs.
- The ability to climb ladders.
- The ability to work in hot and humid environments (up to 115 F).
- May be required to stoop/bend/crouch for brief periods.
Qualifications, Required Skills and Competencies
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and counting skills.
- The ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
- Good communication skills.
- Forklift training and certification.
- Blueprint reading and understanding.
- Knowledge of machine operations.
- Knowledge and the ability to weld (Arc, MIG, TIG) and metal cutting.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
