he Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily functions of the warehouse to ensure goals are met, if not exceeded. You will manage and support many facets of operations such as inventory integrity, picking/pulling, shipping and receiving; while maintaining smooth warehouse operational activities. You will work with a team of 2 other supervisors and report directly to the Warehouse Manager. You will work fully onsite #LI-Onsite at our South Charlotte location (About 5 miles from Carowinds).

You will manage the daily warehouse activities of 45+ hourly employees
You will provide leadership that maximizes resources to support our goals in servicing the customer.
You will design and implement staffing strategies to ensure our work force is cross-trained and responds to variations in workflow.
You will set employee performance goals, measure performance, identify performance gaps, training needs, and ensure competence is developed.
You will mentor team leads and coordinators with a focus in the area of people and quality management.
You will continuously identify areas of improvement and promote a culture of continuous improvement among all warehouse employees.
You will promote awareness and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
You will promote a customer-focused culture delivers high levels of customer service to our internal and external customers.
You will Partner with other Warehouse Supervisors, Warehouse Engineers and Warehouse Managers to establish new workflows, test and implement new technologies and set clear and manageable standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the departments.
You will work with internal customers to quickly resolve issues through root cause analysis.
You will Communicate and enforce standard operating procedures.

You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in a similar distribution facility.
You have a great safety track record and proficiency in operating several types of forklifts.
You are proficient in MS products such as Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
You can write routine reports and correspondence.
You can present effectively in front of groups of customers or employees.
You can resolve practical issues and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
You have a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field or in lieu of a degree 10+ years of relevant experience.
You have formal Six Sigma training/Lean Warehouse training
