Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Pay Rate: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
Education: Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required

As a Counselor - Mobile Assessment, you will:
- Provide orientations for new WTW (Welfare-to-Work) participants, train Case Managers, conduct screenings and provide referrals for social service needs.
- May work off-site at a Welfare-to-Work office.
- Work closely with collaborative partners and other providers in the region to facilitate access to program service and other social services needed for WTW clients.
- Assist clients in developing service plan goals and prioritizing needs and steps to reach established goals.
- Participate in weekly Care Coordination meetings.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Bilingual Spanish is required for this position
- Minimum of 2 years of experience assisting hard-to-place populations, including severe mental illness, severe emotional disorder and WTW clients
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
- Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. A California driver’s license in good standing and proof of car insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles on company business.
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
