Purchasing Clerk performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties for the company including purchase of general consumables as required to maintain a constant flow of materials and supplies to assigned areas within the warehouse.
The following are a few of the Purchasing Clerk’s responsibilities:
- Answer Phones for Purchasing department
- Process purchase orders
- Contacting Vendors
- Foster relationships with Vendors
- Research product for customers
- Verify invoices are correct
