A Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Cobb County, GA is currently seeking Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our family!
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work in a team where you will provide compassionate and quality care in a secure setting. Under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement the resident's Care Plan for rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Help residents to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
- Communicate resident progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members.
- Assist with resident scheduling and post charges daily to resident records.
- Document resident care in accordance with People first Rehabilitation, regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program
- The current state of Georgia licensure
- At least 1 year COTA experience in a nursing home or hospital
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
