Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Pay Rate: $43.27 to $48.08 per hour
Education: Master’s in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work and Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed or licensed-eligible with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist required

As an Urgent Care Manager, you will have dual clinical and managerial responsibilities:
- Complete screening and triage for urgent walk-in clients to determine service eligibility and assesses for safety concerns.
- Conducting behavioral health assessments with concurrent documentation standard.
- Provide crisis interventions daily to ensure safety of clients.
- Provide Care Coordination, Case Management, and Skills Building services as needed.
- Work with Program Director to manage clinical staff.
- Coordinate and liaison with clinical and prescriber staff.
- Help maintain internal tracking systems for walk-ins and referrals from other programs.
- Conduct bi-monthly peer reviews, and other reviews and data tracking as requested by Program Director.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of four years of experience working with individuals who have a severe and persistent mental illness, as well as co-occurring disorders
- Those with experience in a walk-in outpatient-based mental health program encouraged to apply
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. A valid California driver’s license in good standing and proof of insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles on company business.
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

The Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
Jane Westin Center is a full-time urgent psychiatric walk-in center that provides screening, triage, clinical and psychiatric assessment, medication support, and discharge planning.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
