Overall Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
Description of Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring accounts receivable summary for delinquency through related reports on a daily basis

Researching and responding to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner.

Initiating appropriate collection activity via past due notices, telephone, and email correspondence.

Recommending accounts for collection escalation

Processing customer credit applications

Initiating, tracking, and maintaining all records/files associated with collection activities for each account.

Perform daily bank account reconciliation, reconcile credit card statements

Validate transactions related to our Payables or Receivables teams.

Record monthly, quarterly, and annual Tax expense entries.

Perform month-end closure tasks.

Perform account and period reporting to financial leadership as needed.

Perform general accounting team functions, data entry, analysis, and administrative duties as required.

Maintaining accurate customer information in the database.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Minimum 0-2 years accounting experience required.

MS Office experience is required.

2+ Years of experience with Epicor P21 ERP, preferred

Excellent time management skills with attention to deadlines.
