We are seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist - Medical to join MRI Management located at 1504 Hardeman Ave A, Macon, GA. 31201.
The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for activities associated with credentialing or re-credentialing physicians & providers, including processing provider applications & re-applications. Conducts credentialing audits & provides feedback to reduce errors & improve processes & performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Initiate & monitor the credentialing, re-credentialing & enrollment process for providers.
- Works to verify all necessary documents are provided to ensure clinical practicing privileges with insurance plans are complete for each provider.
- Track the credentialing & re-credentialing process from start to finish ensuring it is completed in a timely manner.
- Follow up with private, state & federal insurance as needed to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians & staff to collect & submit vital documentation.
- Maintains constant contact with provider/clinical in the credentialing process to ensure all documents are provided & data is accurately recorded.
- Maintains a tracking system for credentialing renewal dates for providers and clinical support personnel.
- Maintains highly organized credentialing files. Monitors & tracks training programs for all personnel.
- Provides timely updates to MRI Management Staff.
- Receives, tracks, monitors & facilitates CME requests & other educational certifications.
- Accurately & securely store data files.
Position Requirements:
- One to three (1-3) years of directly related credentialing experience
- Proficient knowledge of the following applications MS Outlook, Word, Excel,

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
