**Overview**
We are seeking a pro-choice skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, administering treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Medical Assistant will be an integral part of our medical team and will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
**Duties**
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
- Prepare patients for medical procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing equipment.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications as directed.
- Perform routine medical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and X-rays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Assist with patient care, including escorting patients to various areas of the clinic.
- Perform urgent care tasks as needed, including providing basic life support.
- Provide medical administrative support, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Utilize electronic systems to manage patient information and communicate with healthcare providers.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
**Skills**

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Experience working in an urgent care environment.
- Proficiency in electronic systems, including medical records systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
