Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ISEE Preparation Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the ISEE examination format and content, as well as a passion for helping students excel in their ISEE tests. As an ISEE Preparation Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing students for the challenges of the ISEE and assisting them in gaining admission to prestigious independent schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Comprehensive ISEE Curriculum: Create and implement a comprehensive ISEE preparation curriculum that covers all test sections, including Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and Essay Writing.
Design lesson plans that align with the ISEE exam content and objectives.
Deliver Engaging Instruction: Conduct interactive and engaging ISEE preparation classes to enhance students' skills and confidence.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and practice materials to support student learning.
Individualized Student Support: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students, tailoring instruction to address their unique strengths and weaknesses.
Develop personalized study plans to help students maximize their ISEE scores.
Assessment and Feedback: Administer practice tests and assessments to track students' progress.
Offer constructive feedback and strategies for improvement based on assessment results.
Resource Development: Stay updated with the latest ISEE examination trends, materials, and resources.
Curate or create relevant study materials, practice tests, and exercises for students.
Motivation and Confidence Building:Inspire and motivate students to perform their best on the ISEE.
Help students build confidence in their test-taking abilities.
Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of students' progress, attendance, and performance.
Prepare progress reports and communicate with students and parents/guardians as needed.
Professional Development:Continuously improve teaching skills through professional development opportunities.
Stay updated with changes in ISEE exam requirements and content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, relevant subject area, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in teaching ISEE preparation courses.
Excellent command of verbal and written English.
Strong understanding of the ISEE examination format and scoring criteria.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, motivating, and adaptable teaching approach.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
