Job description: We are looking for a Project Manager for projects in our NE region, spanning Eastern MD, DE, PA, NJ and NY. Our head office is in Frederick, MD. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between our clients (general contractors) and our subcontractor workforce. You will work closely with these groups to develop schedules, keep detailed records of installation, conduct quality control inspections, and troubleshoot issues that arise in the field. This is a field position which requires frequent travel in the DMV area.
These duties include:
· Managing subcontractors and general contractors.
· Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, shop drawings, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
· Frequent site visits throughout the DMV area.
· Develop schedules and track project status within our PM tool.
· Coordinating shop schedules and day-to-day operations.
· Troubleshoot and develop solutions to field issues.
· Conduct quality control measures to ensure high quality standards.
· Initiate and process change orders.
· Direct the purchase of supplies and other required material for installation.
· Effective communication with key stakeholders such as general contractors, developers, and subcontractors.
· Participate in the invoice and payment collection process.
To be successful, you will need:
· Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
· Minimum Education: Associate degree in Business, Engineering or Project Management
o Four years of experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to read schematics such as architectural and shop drawings.
· Experience with Project Management Tool such as MS Project, JIRA, WRIKE, or Monday.com.
· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft suite.
· Critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills.
· Project Management Professional training or certification preferred.
· Must thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking work environment.
· One year or more in project management/construction industry is required.
· Must have reliable transportation for site visits. Vehicle reimbursement commensurate with federal rate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000+ per year (depending on experience)
Bonus: Dependent upon individual and business performance
