Duties:
- Assist physicians and nurses in patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Coordinate patient appointments and provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Adhere to medical protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical-surgical procedures.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or inpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.
