Thompson Flanagan Executive Liability Group, LLC is seeking an Account Coordinator for its Private Equity Group. This position is a support role, responsible for assisting brokers/account teams by providing basic administrative and support functions in the team’s day-to-day servicing of clients. The coordinator will gather and input data into spreadsheets and client presentations, take notes at client meeting and on calls and participate in special projects and trainings with the team that will assist in their learning and development.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist insurance brokers with account management and customer service needs. Including: client proposals, client billing, certificates of insurance, summaries of insurance, issuing policies and endorsements.
- Maintain open and clear communication channels with carriers, clients, and internal staff.
- Use of our Agency Management System (Applied Epic) for creating and maintaining client files in accordance with office procedures (e.g., processing client information, billing, and invoicing) – Training Provided.
- Answer billing questions from clients or the Accounting Department when necessary.
- Assist with Premium Finance Agreements.
- Tracking new and renewal business.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Remains informed regarding industry information.
- Expected to further industry education through insurance courses with the intent to pursue an insurance license and/or industry designation.
- Expected to be a strong member of the team and community.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
- 4-year college degree or industry experience (not required).
- Ability to obtain an insurance license (within 3 months of employment) and retain a license by meeting the continuing education requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Task-oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload.
- Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative and innovative.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
