Tired of sucking spit all day? Full-time dental assistants sought for full-service Forest Hills (Queens) dental practice, established 1946. All levels of experience are welcome.
After 76 years in business, we have brought our time-tested multidisciplinary model into the digital age. Ideal candidates’ greatest assets will be their ability to work as a team and desire to invest in themselves through non-stop learning. Furthering your personal, professional, and financial development is our passion and our greatest joy. Our employees have gone on with our support to earn: Dental hygiene licensure, phlebotomy certifications, medical billing credentials, and even a Masters degree. One is currently taking the DAT, and three are applying to dental school!
There is always more to learn -- all phases of digital and analog dentistry, including endo, perio, ortho, implant and other oral surgery, TMJ treatment, life-saving sleep apnea treatment, full-jaw and full-mouth restorations on both teeth and implants, digital and analog dental laboratory work, all done here in-office. Whatever you love in dentistry, you can find a niche you will love growing into here.
In addition to typical assisting duties, our current assistants have specialized in: TMJ physical therapy for patients injured in accidents; scanning, design and digital fabrication of temporary and definitive crowns, bridges and dentures; concentrating growth factors from patients' own extracted teeth and blood used to speed healing and improve surgical results.
Compensation is based on experience, skills, and attitude. New ideas to move the practice forward will always be rewarded. If you can replace a service we currently pay for, we would much rather pay you for it than a vendor. To apply, please send a resume and a cover letter that will let us get to know you. So that we know you read and followed all instructions, in the cover letter, please include your favorite sports team!
