Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Top Skills:
- Industrial maintenance
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- DC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, limit switches, and electric motors.
- PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Direct Logic.
Duties:
- Must be able to troubleshoot PLCs.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals, and electrical blueprints/schematics.
- Perform general electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Safe work habits, following proper LOTO and other OSHA requirements.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Must have own maintenance tools, including 480 volt and 3 phase electric voltmeter, and able to use.
- Able to effectively and efficiently use various maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with electrical circuits including 24-volt controls, 120-240 volt, single and three-phase service.
- Capable of using programmable logic controllers to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Work with CNC machines, distributed control systems, hydraulics, and vision inspection systems
- Perform needed tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager
- Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production machinery
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Must be able to assemble, repair, and install electrical equipment
- Experience with high-voltage industrial equipment is required
- Must be able to perform routine mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
- Must prioritize working safely
- Must be able to work independently or within a team
- A flexible schedule with availability for the second shift is preferred.
- Must be able to work with and around high-voltage circuits
- Good communication skills to management and within your team
- Record all work in Fiix CMMS
- Ensure all equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain good 6S housekeeping standards.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
