Role:
Use knowledge of credit union products and services to assess members’ needs and assist with their financial transactions while minimizing risk related to negotiable instruments, documents of identification, transaction authority, and funds availability. Thoroughly analyze information presented in Teller Enterprise and Episys Quest. Evaluate documents presented by the member for authenticity. Adhere to all federal regulations and all T.A.P. Center policies, including transaction limits for both cash and checks.
Knowledge & Skills
Experience:
One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. Cash handling experience a plus.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Other Skills:
Punctual, mentally alert, professional in appearance and manner. Good listening skills, ability to greet the public and communicate in a friendly and tactful manner.

Key-boarding/Writing/Pinching (working primarily w/ finger) 34-66% of the time; Handling (working primarily w/ hands such as grasping, turning, sorting) >66% of the time; Sitting 1-33% of the time; Talking (required use of voice) >66% of the time; Near Vision - Visual Acuity at 20 inches or less >66% of the time; Far Vision - Visual Acuity at 20 feet or more 1-33% of the time; Hearing >66% of the time; Lifting/Carrying at 20-50 lbs, 1-32 reps per day/or 1-33%; Pushing/Pulling at 10-19 lbs, 1-32 reps per day/or 1-33%;
Work Environment:
Office position; works indoors year-round; may be exposed to indoor temperature adjustments; heating and cooling vents distribute regulated air.
