Permanent Supportive Housing Team Lead
River Edge is actively searching for a qualified individual to join our team as the Team Lead for Permanent Supportive Housing. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Team Lead will assume responsibility for supporting a robust, autonomous, and trauma-focused case management and care coordination team working with individuals and families previously experiencing homelessness.

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
FLSA Classification: Salary, Exempt.

Oversee and provide clinical support to a team of Care Coordinators and Certified Peer Specialists.
-
Serve as the primary contact person for the Coordinated Entry System (CES) for PSH placement updates.
-
Establish a broad base of knowledge of community services and communicate appropriate referrals to clients, engaging with community partners to provide services on and off-site.

Collaborate on new project proposals, including supporting the budgeting and grant writing process.

Acts as the primary contact to the Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA), Partners for Home, and Fulton County.

Responsible for generating monthly, quarterly, and annual, reports for submission to management on time.

Monitor program outcomes and prepare necessary reports related to grant and agency needs.

Make recommendations for strategies to ensure program outcomes are met.

Coordinate staff training concerning homeless services service models (Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Support Services)

Ensure staff are conducting assertive tenant engagement to encourage participation in ancillary services.

Implement staff training to ensure quality behavioral health assessments, case/treatment plans, and related care coordination and case management services are delivered.

Maintain up-to-date client files and program statistics, including, but not limited to, client data and grant-related documentation.

Conduct scheduled client record audits to ensure compliance with the schedule of service contacts.

Review landlord/tenant dwelling leases and supporting documentation for program compliance.

Attend meetings and collaborate with external partners.
Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or any related field.
-
Fully Licensed (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) required.
-
Two (2) or more years working with those with substance use, homelessness, and mental and behavioral health concerns are required.

Demonstrated knowledge of the practices of Harm Reduction and Housing First philosophies.
-
Two (2) or more years of related experience in housing is preferred.

Experience supporting high-functioning teams preferred.
-
Experience working in Homeless Management Information Systems is preferred.

Experience working with any of the following programs: HUD, ESG, CDGB, HOME, LITHC, or PSH funding.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to perform basic functions such as composing business forms, letters, and spreadsheets.

Demonstrated ability to prepare complex budgetary and statistical reports.

People with lived experience of incarceration, recovery, and homelessness, and those who identify as Trans for LGBTQ+ are strongly encouraged to apply.

Valid GA driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Empathy: A mental health supervisor needs to demonstrate empathy towards both clients and team members, understanding their perspectives and providing support in challenging situations.

Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for a mental health supervisor to convey information, listen actively, and foster open dialogue within the team and with clients.

Clinical Supervision: Proficiency in providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals, including guiding case conceptualization, treatment planning, and interventions, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Crisis Intervention: Ability to effectively manage crises, including assessing risk, de-escalating conflicts, and implementing appropriate intervention strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.

Program Development and Evaluation: Experience in developing and evaluating mental health programs and services, including designing outcome measures, collecting, and analyzing data, and making evidence-based recommendations for program improvement.
