Garda is looking for a Business Recruiter to be a part of our Business Development Team based out of our New York office. In this role you will partner with all non-trading functions across the firm. You'll be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process including conducting research and market mapping, sourcing, pipeline building, assessing and evaluating candidates, as well as drafting offer approvals, negotiating, and closing.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to meet hiring goals, including crafting and executing active sourcing and research strategies to identify potential talent for Garda's near and long-term needs
- Conduct technical as well as behavioral interviews to closely evaluate candidates
- Participate in the offer process, preparing offers for review and approval, presenting offers to candidates, and developing effective close strategies
- Establish relationships with Team Leads across all non-trading functions, developing a deep understanding of their strategic priorities and hiring needs
- Track and analyze relevant metrics to provide insights to senior leadership across the organization and within the HR|BD team
- Represent Garda as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally
- Lead and participate in cross-functional, ad-hoc projects as needed and assigned
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- 3+ years of recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment, either at an agency or in house
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- A general understanding and interest in learning technical concepts
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking, strong attention to detail and independent problem solving skills
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment, with a track record of building effective relationships with a range of teams and seniority levels across an organization
