At Turning Point of Tampa, our programs feature highly credentialed staff providing real structure, teaching clients how to practice 12-Step principles, in a residential setting where solid group counseling is the keystone. We specialize in treating Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders, and Dual Diagnosis. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are a licensed provider of residential, PHP, and IOP programs. Summary:
We are seeking an experienced candidate for our addiction nursing position. Scheduled days and needed availability are every Thursday from 7am to 7pm for day shift and Thursday from 7pm to 7am for night shift at minimum. Monday day shift is also available if more hours are desired. As a nurse at Turning Point of Tampa, you will be required to provide client and staff education, coordinate services with the physicians, as well as provide client care, treatment, and services as it relates to the client's medical needs. You will assess and reassess clients upon admission as well as throughout their treatment stay for medical needs as well as for symptoms of withdrawal and need for detoxification. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an LPN program
- State of Florida nursing license in good standing
- Must have experience working in a detoxification program
- Experience in addiction treatment and/or the 12-Step program
- Current CPR certification
- Must have a valid Florida state driver's license
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
