Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate clinical team activities to optimize patient care
- Assist doctors with procedures, including taking vital signs and X-rays
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Utilize dental software such as open dental patient records and scheduling
- Provide support in medical coding and billing processes
- Demonstrate expertise in pediatric dentistry and anatomy knowledge
- Collaborate with orthodontists on treatment plans for pediatric patients
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and X-ray procedures
- Experience with dental software systems like Dentrix and Epic
- Familiarity with medical coding practices
- Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide the clinical team efficiently
