Overview:
The US Oncology Network is looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Information Technology (IT) Director - Business and Revenue Cycle Systems, to lead our technology operations!
This position is a full-time
remote and will be based out of the
Corporate Office in Dallas, Texas, or other major cities in Texas (i.e. Austin, Houston or Richardson). It will also support all

What does the Information Technology (IT) Director do? (including but not limited to):
Under minimal supervision, provides oversight and guidance to the practices on business and information technology strategy. Provides oversight and project management for the various IT projects for USON practice locations. Develops implementation strategies for business line applications. Assists Corporate and Network Management with evaluation of new technology, strategy, policies and procedures to ensure integrity and efficiency of corporate applications. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the management and leadership of exempt and non-exempt employees including but not limited to recruitment, retention, discipline and termination of staff. This will also include performance reviews and payroll maintenanc
- Provides project management to the practices for various infrastructure and system implementation.
- Provides follow-up and review of project outcomes against original targets
- Works with the practice leadership on the development of strategic plans and requirements for Information Technology
- Ensures alignment of practice business and strategic objectives and USON business and strategic objectives.
- Oversees system integration activities
- Provides Information Technology support for process improvement initiatives
Responsible for training, developing and mentoring local IT staff.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Healthcare Management, Advanced degree preferred with business experience
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive IT responsibility
- Minimum of two (2) years of management experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills required.
- Prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle workflows is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Athena IDX experience preferred.
Working knowledge of HL7 interfaces preferred.
