Position Description:
Compass Architecture is seeking a highly qualified Architect with demonstrated qualifications and experience in all aspects of the design and construction process. As the ideal candidate, you will lead projects from conceptual design through construction administration using your architectural leadership, attention to detail, and superior communication skills. You will be responsible for understanding design development for commercial applications and uniting internal and external project teams to work towards your client’s strategic objectives. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to navigate the complexities of project management, agile use of computer systems as project tools, and exceptional creative thinking abilities.
Basic Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication skills to facilitate meetings with clients and project staff
- Excellent creative thinking ability
- Strong design skills
- Exercise consistent discretion and judgment in the performance of projects
- Utilize computer systems as a tool to manage projects, including Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Construction/job site management including Construction Coordination Resolution, RFI, Submittal Management, and Punch List Documentation
- Ability to generate parametric Revit families from scratch
- Create sketches and renderings to visualize design concepts.
- Knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting processes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent
- Five (5) years experience required
- State of Colorado Architectural license (preferred) or ability to pursue
- Higher Ed, Civic, or K-12 experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary - $65,000 - $75,000

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
