We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily activities, ensuring efficient operations of our services, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of moving projects.
- Monitor the execution of operations to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Supervise and direct the activities of moving staff, including movers and drivers to optimize productivity and service quality.
- Manage inventory and maintain moving supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness and operational condition. Prepare materials for the next day's moves.
- Check in unused materials and compare them to the final invoice.
- Daily spot check trucks for cleanliness and proper setup
- Spot checks on jobs daily
- Call customers during the job and ask how its going. Problem solve any issues
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and development of staff, including conducting performance evaluations.
- Update mover matrix with any negative marks daily
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- MUST have at least 2 years experience in the Moving Industry
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving acumen paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
