Reporting to the Director of Medical Staff Services:
- Produces physician and allied health professional activity reports, and related audits (i.e. anesthesia, ED, radiology, etc.).
- Performs monthly abstractions for assigned external quality and core measures.
- Answers department phones.
- Assists with the management of all expirable certificates, licenses, etc. related to the medical staff and allied health professionals, to include filing updated documentation in the credential files.
- Creates and distribute s letters, memos, emails, and other correspondence as assigned.
- Processes all "Line 12s" (physician feedback reports) in the incident reporting system and provides periodic reports.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of the medical staff lounge, including supplies, purchasing, planning and management.
- Participates on teams and committees as assigned .
- Orders supplies for Medical staff, Quality Management, and Infection prevention departments maintaining par level of supplies in alignment with approved budget.
- Participates in system testing, new/revised order set testing, software implementation, planning and development, and process discussions as it relates to physicians/allied health professionals (AHPs).
- Facilitates the orientation and onboarding of all new medical staff and allied health professional members, and students including but not limited to scheduling meetings with key staff and departments. Teaches members the use of the EMR and other related patient care systems.
- Conducts Meditech training for hospital staff and provides troubleshooting to physicians and allied health professionals.
- Provides troubleshooting and support for Synapse, Meditech, Epiphany, and Dragon, e-prescribing, and other physician related tools.

- Communicates routinely with Information Systems staff, physicians, allied health professionals, and other staff to discuss process improvement and system updates as it relates to physician's use of EMR.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- PREFERRED Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Meditech, EMR and other related physician-related software.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Windows, basic computing, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- PREFERRED experience in conducting quality and/or patient safety audits.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
