Overview DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will possess basic understanding of billing/accounting principles, completes the billing for the “fee-for service” programs in the Adult Services Department. Participates as a member of the Adult Services Department in various work projects related to the billing and documentation of the various billed programs in a manner that facilitates collaboration, cooperation, and project integration within the work unit and across work-unit boundaries and that complies with established principles and practices.
· Complete monthly fee for service billing in the various adult services programs
· Assist with database training, utilization, and reporting
· Respond to billing-related questions including investigating issues to ensure appropriate interventions/solutions
· Regularly reviewing billing records to ensure accuracy
· Training all levels of employees on using identified data base for billing and documentation
· Maintain and distribute updated list of participants that have 53-R, 53-D, and 37U
· Participating as a team member in various Adult Services departments/functions to ensure billing processes are streamlined
· Complete random “fee for service” audits for all billable codes
EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s degree preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proficiency in use of Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word along with the agency’s database/billing system. At least one year prior office experience including data entry, billing and/or purchasing.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
