SITE MANAGER/SUPERVISOR
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates personnel and resources in managing services control and equipment operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- · Supervision of the day-to-day security operation of site security staff, reporting to the Operations Manager
- · Scheduling, timesheets and payroll for the site assigned
- · Organize, train, lead and supervise the work of subordinates
- · Employee discipline and identifies training needs among the workforce
- · Conduct post checks, uniform/vehicle inspections
- Man post, relieve officers
- · Ensure that all officers are thoroughly briefed on their individual post orders and are carrying out all the duties according to the client’s requirements.
- · Supervise and ensure that all officers sign in and out.
- · Supervise the reports of the site officers – ensure complete, accurate and timely reports
- · Interviews and recommends potential employees to enhance quality of staff.
- · Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive written reports
· Scheduled Hours: Day Shift Monday - Friday
· On-call 24 hours a day and weekends
- · Respond to all incidents within 30 minutes of notice.
- · Reports daily operating activities to management. Task Tracker Report due weekly
SPECIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum 3 years of experience in security/law enforcement with supervisory experience. Candidate MUST meet all State standards for private security.
COMPLEXITY:
Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents. Moderate analytic ability is required in applying guidelines, policies and procedures, and in adapting standard methods to fit facts and conditions.
IMPACT OF ACTIONS:
Errors in work could lead to moderate expenses and inconveniences. Work is typically performed under limited supervision with alternating periods of relative autonomy and general review. The supervisor generally plays a substantial role in setting objectives and organizing work.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Direct Supervision:
Involves scheduling, supervision and evaluation of work as a Field Supervisor or the equivalent over the first-line supervisors (and non-supervisors, if applicable).
Indirect Supervision:
Involves supervision and evaluation of work as a Field Supervisor or the equivalent.
CONTACTS:
Internal Contacts:
Level of internal contact is primarily with professionals and supervisors. Interaction requires moderate tact and cooperation; e.g., scheduling and/or coordinating two personal calendars, resolving problems and/or obtaining necessary information.
External Contacts:
Level of external contact is primarily with lower-level service representative and vendors. Interaction requires moderate tact and cooperation.
