Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors

Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals

Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
-
Assist leadership with supervision of planning, directing, and organizational needs of the department with a focus in Catering, Special Events and Consumer Events & Festivals

Assists leadership with employees scheduling, training, food ordering and equipment
-
Create ambassador schedules and maintains Seaport reports
-
Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports
-
Address complaints and resolve problems
-
Contact maintenance as necessary to maintain proper operation of all equipment and facility
-
Maintain repair log and control labor cost
-
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training ambassadors; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining ambassadors; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Ensure excellent guest service by responding to guest requirements, expectations and needs

Other duties assigned

Occasionally assist other location and areas throughout the park as needed
What it takes to succeed:
-
At least 18 years of age
-
At least 3 year of experience in the food and beverage industry or similar high volume leadership capacity

Able to lead and develop ambassadors in daily job task
-
A role model for SEA safety, guest service, attendance, cleanliness and wardrobe standards
-
Able to work with and lead ambassadors in areas that sell and serve alcohol.

A valid Driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines preferred
-
Able to complete a Food Safety Manager certification and pass the exam
-
Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.

Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
-
Frequent bending from waist to floor, kneeling, squatting, simple hand grasping work and fine hand manipulation (computer work/typing, writing).

Occasional overhead reaching and climbing stairs and ladders
-
Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
-
Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
-
Able to work a flexible schedule (Includes: Weekends, holidays, catering events and evening hours)
