Training and Development Coordinator
$60,000 - $75,000 yearly – salary based on experience and skill set
Roto-Rooter Services Company is America’s largest plumbing and drain cleaning company and the name that homeowners and businesses turn to for select quality services. We are excited to post an open position on our training team.
The Training and Development Coordinator will have a huge impact in the startup of new Roto-Rooter offices and provide support to over 70 existing locations in the US and Canada. This is a travel-intensive position that requires a multi-faceted individual to contribute to a dynamic team.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with new contractors and their office personnel.
- Train on best practices for various office processes.
- Coach customer service staff on providing an excellent front line service experience.
- Help new contractors understand how to build and maintain a successful business.
- Contribute to our corporate training programs and materials to ensure that existing locations stay up to date.
- Assist in developing and testing software updates.
- Analyze business data to identify training needs.
Requirements:
- Availability for intensive travel. Training and Development Coordinators spend at least 50% of their time on the road. Travel is M-F, sometimes for consecutive weeks.
- Organized and thorough, attention to detail and willingness to follow-up.
- Knowledge of Windows and above average skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to respond to HELP desk requests for trouble shooting software and hardware issues remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Background in office management or corporate training preferred.
- Outstanding writing, editing and grammar skills.
