Reports to: Program Director
Job Overview:
The area of responsibility shall include working cooperatively with the Leadership Team. The Program Manager shall be responsible for assigned staff and related activities, and for the (re)habilitation of individuals referred for services from MRS, Community Mental Health Authorities and other referral sources. He/she shall assist in coordination of The Center services with outside agencies and client representatives. He/she is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of assigned services and may designate areas of responsibility to assigned personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Acts as a resource for service planning and implementation when needed by staff members.
? Adhere to The Center Star Standards (Service, Team, Attitude, Reliability)
? Assess training needs of assigned staff members.
? Assist with departmental audits.
? Be available during all programming hours to address any concerns that arise.
? Complete staff member and client action forms in a timely manner.
? Create and develop new relationships with employers and CLS sites.
? Develop relationships with the individuals served that are respectful, based on mutual trust, and that maintains professional boundaries.
? Ensure appropriate staffing and assignment of clients.
? Ensure department services are delivered in accordance with plans of service, thorough, and meet standards of The Center, CARF, and other regulatory agencies and contracts.
? Ensure the use of appropriate interventions/behavior management techniques, manage emergencies in accordance with The Center health and safety policies, including the preparation/review/submission of reports of unusual incidents, and/or accident investigation reports.
? Expect each staff members to deliver services of the highest quality.
? Facilitate client intakes and ensure appropriate paperwork completed.
? Facilitate Individual Plan of Service (IPOS) trainings to assigned staff members.
? Facilitate monthly staff meetings with documented meeting minutes filed in the drive.
? Implement the principals of the Person-Centered Planning throughout the department.
? Develop client annual reviews, annual paperwork, and capture success stories.
? Maintain strict confidentiality or all business operations, client, and staff information.
? Manage relationships/agreements with external partners in a professional and courteous manner.
? Monitor staff members? performance and complete periodic reviews in a timely manner.
? Distribute staff birthday/anniversary gifts, welcome gifts, 90-day gifts, etc.
? Monitor and mentor assigned staff members and give constructive feedback.
? Track and review ALL client paperwork for accuracy.
? Update client handbooks at lease annually or as needed. (changes submitted to Office Manager)
? Update client policies/procedures at least annually or as needed. (changes submitted to the Office Manager)
? Communicate and attend any provider meetings as needed.
? Perform site visits to determine ways to enhance services. Frequent field monitoring.
? Provide counsel and support for all staff members in your departments.
? Recruit, interview, develop staff members, and provide disciplinary feedback, including recommendation for termination when necessary.
? Request assessments, plans, and authorizations as necessary.
? Responsible for reporting program outcomes to Program Director.
? Responsible for submitting and ensuring accuracy of Incident Reports.
? Review staff expense reports and timesheets for accuracy.
? Review weekly schedules to ensure authorized hours are being covered.
? Treat all clients and staff members with dignity and respect.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.
