Experience Veterinary Technician/Room Nurse/CSR – Full Time Position Available

THPHCC is a privately owned full-service veterinary hospital powered by professionals with decades of experience offering progressive veterinary medicine and a high standard of care.
THPHCC is looking for a Full Time Experienced Veterinary Technician/Room Nurse/CSR to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician or Client Service Representative
- Positive work attitude and commitment to a stress-free environment for our patients and team members (Fear-Free Certified a plus!)
- 8 Hour/5 Day Work Week Schedule flexibility; (we are currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays)
- Understands the value of teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provides excellent patient care and superior customer service skills
- Comfortable working with veterinary practice software to complete patient records and treatment. We are a paperless practice! Knowledge of eVet/Pulse software a plus!
Job Overview:
Our Veterinary Technician/Room Nurse/CSR is an integral part of our team. This position requires a strong veterinary skill set. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist our Registered Veterinary Technician Team
- Assist our Veterinarians
- Veterinary Assistant duties: loading exam rooms for RVT/DVM appointments (obtaining patient weight and temperature)
- Maintaining cleanliness of facility
- Clean and maintain patient kennels, examination rooms, surgical suite, and treatment area
- Assisting RVT in Radiology
- Assisting RVT/DVM in Surgical Preparation
- Assist fellow co-workers with their job if needed. Such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, filling medications, check-in/check-out process
- Client Education
- Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance
Compensation:
- Up to $23.90 Per Hour/Depending on experience
