Primary Functions:
Assist with receiving, storing, staging and shipping Brandt tools, supplies, materials and equipment, as directed, in a safe, orderly and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Use hands, dolly and/or forklift to load, move, stack, stage, and unload tools, supplies, material and equipment onto and off of delivery trucks, pallets, shelves, decks or floors, into and out of the warehouse or storage facility, and to and from construction job sites or other Brandt destinations.
- Count items received or shipped and compare with packing lists. Record all discrepancies.
- Prepare receiving and shipping reports. Note all shortages or damages.
- Distribute received packages to appropriate Brandt office personnel, as directed.
- Sweep, clean, haul trash and maintain work area in clean and organized fashion.
- Assist with scrap collection, delivery, and receipt of payment, according to approved process.
- Coordinate mail pickup and delivery at specified locations as needed.
- Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; valid Texas driver license and clear driving record (CDL optional).
- Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong attention to safety policies and procedures
- Good customer service skills
- Willingness to work efficiently inside and outside
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Availability for occasional weekend work
