ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER- HIGH-RISE MULTIFAMILY
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical, mechanical, and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of an Assistant Project Manager in Houston, TX.
Assistant Project Manager Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Assistant Project Manager is $90,000 per year.

Assistant Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update a current CPM schedule at the jobsite at the Project Manager's direction.
- Maintain orderly documentation of all field purchases.
- Coordinate subcontractors' work schedules at the Project Superintendent's direction
- Schedule equipment and materials at the Project Superintendent's direction
- Ensure timeliness of all submittals and shop drawings
- Maintain and submit accurate, timely reports and forms as required by the Corporate and specific to the project.
- Accurately and continuously update the master drawing set.
- Analyze construction documents and drawings, and forecast any possible field problems; recognize discrepancies between construction documents and field conditions; communicate interpreted information to the Architect , Project Superintendent and Project Manager
- Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
- Write RFI's as directed by the Project Superintendent
- Participate in all meetings on-site including pre-trade, subcontractor and OAC meetings.
Assistant Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or similar field is required.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial /multifamily garden style development experience in a project engineering or APM role
- Proven experience with construction contract administration, RFI, Change Management, estimating, and scheduling highly preferred.
- Prior experience with Procore
- Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines.
- Must have a stable work history.
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
- Procore certifications
