Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and provide direct therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective communication
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the individual's care
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
