We are searching for a talented and reliable maintenance supervisor to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the condition and functionality of a Residential Apartment Community. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling and performing repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.
Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Respond, as directed, promptly and professionally to work order requests both during business hours and after hours.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheetrock, appliances and more.
- Respond, as needed, to emergencies during and after business hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to snow removal, minimal landscaping, etc.
Requirements & Experience:
- Physical Requirements: standing, kneeling, lifting, carrying.
- Required Experience: HVAC experience, appliance repair, fully inclusive apartment turns, plumbing and electric.
- Required Experience: 2 years of experience in residential property maintenance
- Valid Drivers License
- HVAC Certified
- Live within 30 minutes of property for emergency on-call purposes
- Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level. Ability to problem solve in challenging situations. Punctual, trustworthy and takes pride in their work and development of property.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
