Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute a skilled nursing facility located in Monterey, is looking for Business Office Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medi-Cal billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring data analysis, and in-depth evaluation. We offer excellent benefits, generous paid time off and competitive compensation.
Business Office Assistant Responsibilities

Manage Medi-Cal and Managed Medi-Cal Billing

Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion

Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided

Perform Medi-Cal reviews and audits

Complete and audit Treatment Authorization Requests
Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years' experience as a Medical Biller (Preferred but not required)

Strong knowledge of MS Access

Familiarity with PCC, Medi-Cal, and Central California Alliance for Health
