About you:
As our New Construction Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of new construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including tasks, milestones, and deadlines, in coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure everyone is informed of project timelines, progress, and any changes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on projects, schedule adherence for management review and decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to improve scheduling efficiency and project outcomes.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the project life cycle.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools (e.g., Housecall Pro, SupplyPro, G Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ensuring records added or edited are accurate.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple software products simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and workflows is a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
- Proven experience in construction project scheduling and coordination, preferably in new construction or residential/commercial development.
