Maintenance personnel are responsible to maintain the entire hotel facility including:
- Physical building structure
- Mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C systems
- Related equipment to ensure they are in top form
- Ensure guest areas are maintained resulting in an attractive hotel
- Manage all renovation, and special projects.
- Conduct visual walk-through to assess the safe and efficient operation of the physical hotel, including all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C. systems and any other related equipment
- Completion of all routine maintenance to public space, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, back of the house and grounds
- Perform and verify completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects
- Adheres to all purchasing procedures and controls, to include budgeting and schedules
- Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs, conducting special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel, including OSHA and Tag out/Lockout procedures
- Update the General Manager and department heads, where applicable, regarding the overall condition of the building systems and equipment offering cost-effective proposals for maintaining same.
- A combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is required

- The candidate must have a "can-do" attitude along with an excellent ability to train and lead others

- Must have strong communicating skills, and the ability to use a computer system fluently, using the Microsoft Office
- Operate the Department within established payroll and expense budget
- Ability to listen effectively and to speak English clearly to communicate with guests, clients and associates, and prepare written reports.
